Greetings everyone!
This weekend I will be attending Sacred Stone’s Baronial Birthday with my beloved Owain and I am looking forward to visiting with everyone who can come out and make merry! If you’re interested in a chat or some delicious eats, come find me beneath Sacred Stone baronial pavilion.
Hospitality
Baroness Aza put me in charge of organizing hospitality and I swiftly enlisted the aid of Ælfric Ecgeling and Murienne L’aloiere who have taken the time to create delicious foods for you to nom on!
Feast
I was asked to prepare a bread to accompany the fantastic feast course that will be the work of Master Robear. I chose to create many, many loaves of Pan Cocido en el Horno. If you are at all interested in my experience producing this Spanish bread, you can find all of the documentation here.
A Thank You & A Request
I want to take a moment to recognize Juliana Robertson and Ciaran Mac Breandain. They put so much love and hard work into creating this event. However, you will not see them there because they have chosen to protect the populace and stay at home.
Juliana created the website for the event with so much love and attention. In observing her, I could see her dedication to making the site the best it could be. She also volunteered to help with other aspects of the event, including but not limited to feast and hospitality.
Ciaran, for those who do not know, is your site steward. From day one he was in project manager mode devising all the ways to make this Baronial Birthday one for the books.
I ask that if you attend SSBB and see either of these good people at an event in the future, please give them a moment of appreciation.
