Revise, Revise, Revise

Why do this?

Well, there are a couple reasons.

  1. I am perpetually stumbling across information that is new to me and that I think will interest those in attendance. The things I teach are my passion. Even if the SCA were not a part of my life, I’d still be reading and learning. My curiosity is unquenchable.
  2. I revise for accuracy. The world is perpetually changing and as such, the information communicated in my classes must periodically verified. I alone am responsible for what I communicate. It is on me to make sure that I am giving out accurate and timely information.
  3. Design! I am continually looking for the best manner possible to present the information. Is a handout best? Is a presentation a better way to go? When I create these handouts and presentations, I look to how they are laid out and designed to make sure that they are accessible and that the format communicates what I need it to, including but not limited to hierarchies of knowledge.

I won’t go into any further detail on these topics, so if the presented explenations don’t quench your curiosity, please feel free to contact me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks for hanging in there folx. This is a wild ride so keep your hands and arms inside the cart and hold on tight!
